Megan and I (Will) met online, a modern love story. On our first date, I was so nervous that I barely ate, couldn’t carry a conversation, and dressed weirdly. Love wins out though, with her sister and best friend convincing her to not end things and let me take her out for Valentine’s Day. The rest is a series of driving her to and from the airport (as it was truly sometimes the only time we’d get together because Megan is an amazing destination wedding photographer), date nights in Dallas, and resting on the comfy couch watching our TV series. God truly guided us through our dating experience. Megan clearly lived for the Lord and that’s what I love about her. Our faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is the foundation on which our marriage will be built. He is ultimately responsible for bringing us together, guiding our words, actions, and everyday life. Life became easier when we were with each other and the commitment of marriage was an easy, but not trivial, decision for both of us.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
